1.2.2 Information Collected from Cookies and Similar Technologies
CTAM, in common with many other Internet site operators, uses cookies to track user traffic patterns when clients use our Website. Cookies are small text files that store information on Web browsers and can contain identifiers and other information that the site uses to recognize a client, remember a client’s preferences, and provide a client with a more accessible, and user-friendly experience. These cookies, like analytical cookies, track a user’s activity on the Website, but they do not identify them. We will only use these cookies if a user gives us their consent to do so.
If a user has set their browser to warn them before accepting cookies, they will receive the warning message with each cookie. A user can refuse cookies by turning them off in their browser. A user does not need to have cookies turned on to use any CTAM site. However, they do need cookies to participate in some of CTAM’s affiliate programs, but that is clearly explained at the time of acceptance of that program.

Despite ongoing efforts to create some consensus, at this stage, there are no uniform technology standards for responding to DNT signals. Thus, while CTAM is committed to protecting our users’ privacy and being as flexible as we can, we do not currently recognize or respond to browser-initiated DNT signals. CTAM adheres to the standards set out in our Policy. If this standard changes, this Policy will be updated to reflect these changes. Learn about Do Not Track.

We will also make every attempt to notify the impacted users of the incident as soon as possible.
However, please keep in mind that, despite our best efforts, no data transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be 100% secure.
